It has been an extraordinary summer of racing for the squad. This coach has been quite busy with coaching, neglecting my blogging and race reports, but I plan to play catch up and highlight so many of the great performances that have happened since June. But first, a quick report from today’s racing at Lake Stevens.

Leighton Overson took another overall title, this one being PNW Regional Champion, which earned him a check for $500. He has become so much more balanced across the three sports this year, riding with the best and still maintaining that wicked run to finish on top.

Jessica Rogers took her third overall Olympic Distance win of the year, capping off an amazing comeback from a bike accident last year. So much more to come from Jessica next season.

Lora Olinger placed second in her AG today. This has been a complete breakout season for Lora, placing first or second in her AG the entire season all over the Puget Sound.

Carol Beebe won her AG today in the Olympic distance, closing the day looking fantastic with a negative split run on a tough course.
