Joe Giannetto has been our most prolific early season racer following up his awesome 2019 Colorado Multisport season with PRs in many running races.
While may Advantage Multisport athletes have been participating in low key local races to spice up the winter training, the real season “kick off” races are fast approaching. We will see the season start with a few athletes racing IM 70.3 Oceanside, followed quickly by 2 more racing at IM Texas and IM St George. We then move into the big NW 70.3 races at 70.3 Victoria and 70.3 Coeur d’Alene, and even a 6 day Canadian Mountain Bike Stage Race in June. Our short course athletes then get busy sharpening their speed at local and regional races with goals of podiums and USAT Nationals Qualifications. The summer and fall will culminate with the big A races at Nationals, IM Penticton, the inaugural Maple Valley 70.3, Tempe 70.3, and IM Arizona. There are many big goals for 2020, including big PRs, local podiums, Nationals performances, Kona Qualifications, 2021 70.3 Worlds qualifications, and big performances in first time Ironman races. We will keep you up to date in 2020 with the awesome performances of the AM squad. Stay tuned!
